THROW YOUR SWAG DOWN AT AN ECO CAMPSITE IN A HEARTLAND OF ABORIGINAL CULTURE AND BE REGALED BY DREAMING STORIES IN THE NIGHT, TOLD FIRSTHAND BY THE CUSTODIANS OF PLACE AND CULTURE.
Meet your Luridgii guides at Doon Doon Roadhouse and tag along for a day of adventure with the Miriuwung custodians of place and culture in the remote North East Kimberley wilderness of Mandangala.
Drive your 4WD vehicle through spectacular scenery, personally guided by the traditional owners. Hear country told through the dreaming stories while you wait for the fish to bite. Swim in iconic outback gorges. Pass the ancient caves and thermal springs of Rugged Ranges and encounter Miriuwung life. Recognise the meaning of tradition to a culture more than 50,000 years old. Walk and see and do amazing things. Enrich your experience of the Kimberley firsthand with its local Aboriginal people.
If you’re staying the night (which is optional) your guides will help you set up camp, immerse you in stories of the dreaming in surrounding country and take you walking through it the next day.
